Abstract :
In the report studies plasmon waves, that spreads in a layered metal-dielectric waveguides with a circular cross section and at they lie with frequencies in the terahertz range. The results of the effective refractive index calculated for the plasmon waves, that localized near the metal-insulator transition when geometrical parameters of the structure were changed. The results of calculations compare with results of the same characteristics of the finite element method.
