Abstract :
This paper presents an implementation of a synchronizer circuit used in a fractional interval counter of a non-integer ratio sampling rate converter. The synchronizer enables a continuous-time operation of the sampling rate converter even if the conversion ratio cannot be exactly expressed by a binary frequency control word. A brief introduction to the interpolation for timing adjustment is also given.
