Abstract :
This paper presents the steady state analysis of the interconnection of a large Wind Farm (400 MW) to the Brazilian National Grid. Several contingency cases have been simulated to ensure the n-1 reliability standard. Different connection points are analyzed and an economic assessment is developed. All simulations considered the 2015 scenario, when the wind farm should start generation.
