Abstract :
This work focuses on the most recent contributions given mainly by the author and his coworkers to life modeling of insulating materials and systems. In particular, the general phenomenological model valid for combined thermal-electrical stresses is briefly introduced, and models for electrical aging based on charge injection and trapping, as well as on tree growth, are outlined. Moreover, some hints on the probabilistic approach are provided
