Abstract :
The paper describes the optimal control policy of a partial flexible manufacturing system with random demand. The system considered involves an unreliable machine that can produce two different types of product. The switch-over from one type to the other incurs an non-negligible time. The case study on this paper shows the optimal control policy is of a switching curve control. We can then induces a suboptimal control policy-hedging point control
