Abstract :
Results of experimental investigations into the influence of contamination in the air caused by industrial dust on the electrical strength in an insulating gap show that: the electrical strength of an insulating gap with uniform and non-uniform electrical field depends on the concentration of the grain dust; the influence of the dust grain increases as the distance between the electrodes is increased
