Abstract
In this paper, a magnetic shield was developed which consists of a non-oriented silicon steel 50H470. Two methods to design a shield were carried out because the material has poor incremental permeability. The transverse shielding factor (TSF) and the magnetic noise inside the shield were investigated. The effect of magnetic shaking on the TSF and a technique for reducing the leakage field of magnetic shaking were also presented.
