Abstract :
The incremental permeability μΔ of mu-metal was estimated by experiments and numerical analysis. The results enable one to predict the shielding effect (SE) on dynamic shielding (against fluctuation) of a multi-layered magnetically shielded room (MSR). The nonlinearity of μΔ is taken into account and it is assumed to be a function of the biasing flux density and the amplitude of the magnetic noise.
