Abstract :
The various methods available in computerized maintainability prediction methods (for MIL-HDBK-472, Notice 1, Procedure 5) and the relative factors that should be considered in evaluating software techniques for MTTR (mean time to repair) and associated predictions are discussed. The advantages and disadvantages of each method are described, with a more detailed focus on the best method presented. A microcomputer is used as the basis for design evaluations, since PCs are widely available
