Abstract :
This paper presented the elementary principle and the computation for the shield microstrip line by using Quadric-FEM.A general computer program based on this method is first programed, the characteristic impedance in the shield single microstrip line and the capacitance in the shield pair microstrip line of homogeneous dielectric are computed. It has been shown that the Quadric-FEM is an effective method to analyze shield microstrip line in engineering.
