Abstract
From the Maxwell equations and time-varying plasma constitutive equation, characteristics of right-hand circular polarized electromagnetic wave in the time-varying plasma in the frequency domain are analyzed. Some parameters which are difficult to calculate theoretically are calculated by using FDTD method. The accuracy of FDTD method and theoretical analysis are proved by the comparison of numerical results and theoretical analysis. Time-varying plasma has frequency drift role for electromagnetic wave and some other useful conclusions are obtained.
