Abstract :
Edges of an image reflect the main information of the image and contain the basic character. Several images of the same area from multisensor are fused together to maintain most of details, restrain noise of the images and enhance the rate of detection. Edges are extracted from the fused result image. The method of image fusion and edge detection based on wavelet transform is described. This method is proved to be effective
