Abstract :
This paper proposes low profile hybrid antennas, composed of linear dipoles in front of dual layer EBG structure with non identical cells. Due to the special design of the EBGs and the entailed EBG´s attributes, the proposed antennas have performance suitable for wireless networks: high gain, high isolation between its elements and radiation patterns which keep their configurations when the frequency changes.
