Abstract :
This project is a simple step towards energy conservation in the field of water pumping. A lot of energy is used for water pumping in our houses. This project presents a PV water pumping system which can make use of renewable energy for its working. The system is designed in such a way so as to meet the needs of a quarter-hp water pump sufficient enough for meeting the water demand of a single family. The proposed design will increase the lifetime, decrease the cost & will improve efficiency of the conventional PV system, which made use of storage elements. The new design also replaces conventional battery storage motor drive with direct drive system.
