Microwave Technology Centre

The UiTM Microwave Technology Centre is a Centre of Excellence established by the university to spearhead research and consultancy in areas related to high frequency engineering, microwave and wireless technology. The centre started out as a research group in 1987 and has since grown into a national research centre undertaking various projects which are multi-disciplinary in nature but related to microwaves. Our main objectives are: 1. To accelerate research and development activities in areas related to microwave technology including microwave integrated circuits, wireless technology, high speed digital circuits, high frequency materials and non-destructive testing 2. To assist local manufacturers in the fabrication of high frequency telecommunication components and sub-systems 3. To act as a national reference and training centre in areas related to microwave technology and high frequency engineering
