Abstract :
As tree growth is dependent on discharges occurring in narrow and multiply branched tree channels, its mechanism is complicated and a clear understanding has not been obtained yet. In order to study discharge phenomena in a tree channel, gas discharges in tubules have previously been discussed, in which the tree channel was simulated using AC, DC and impulse voltages. In this paper, the discharge voltage in PMMA tubules was investigated, when an impulse voltage and the superposition voltage of a DC and an impulse voltage were applied
