Abstract :
High speed Schlieren photography was used to investigate the process in which an impulse breakdown might propagate across the surface of artificial rainwater. Contrary to its well known conductivity dependence, the streamer discharge in acid rain revealed no significant changes in this experimental condition when the pH value of the electrolyte was altered
