Abstract
Interfacial mixing of two different interfaces, CoFe/IrMn in the top spin valve and IrMn/CoFe in the bottom spin valve was studied in connection to the exchange coupling behavior. The degree of interfacial mixing was determined using the angle resolved X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
