Abstract :
Current-perpendicular-to-plane (CPP) -giant magnetoresistance (GMR) ratio was investigated by inserting Ru layer for CPP-GMR spin valve (SV) structure. Two kinds of CPP-SV free layer, Co90Fe10 single film and C90Fe10/Ru bilayer, were fabricated by electron beam lithography and ion milling etching techniques.
