Abstract :
This paper presents design and performance of a miniaturized printed zigzag antenna with two different bend angles that can operate in a dual frequency band such as GSM (880-960 MHz) and DCS (1710-1880 MHz), AMPS (824-894 MHz) and PCS (1850-1990 MHz), or GSM and Bluetooth (2400-2480 MHz). Different dual frequency band operations are obtained by adjusting total antenna length and bend angles. The antenna resonating in GSM and DCS frequency bands for cellular phone applications is designed, fabricated, and evaluated experimentally. Measurement and simulation results show good agreement.
