Abstract
In this paper, methods of conformal antenna RCS reduction are researched, similar with planar antenna. Design of two conformal microstrip antenna, resonant at the same frequency, the former is an ordinary antenna. The other uses impedance loaded as well as ground plane and patch slotted technique. The results demonstrate that in 2 - 8GHz, the latter conformal microstrip antenna RCS achieve a good reduction, up to 20dB. At the same time, the antenna gain loss of only 0.2dB.
