Abstract :
The intention of proposed work is to provide patient authentication, information secrecy and reliability based on reversible watermark. For this intension the image is divided into groups and R-S vector is resolute from the extracted groups and compressed using lossless compression technique. The MD5 hash value is calculated from the original medical image. Then add the MD5 hash value, compressed R-S vector and patient ID to acquire a watermark. Then the watermark is encrypted using AES encryption algorithm. Encrypt and decrypt the watermark using AES encryption technique and the key. By using the reversible watermarking technique the original image is retrieved at the receiver side without any deformation with high effectiveness.
