  • Abstract
Audio watermarking is a hot research area in copyright protection of multimedia content. In this paper, a novel watermarking technique is proposed based on discrete wavelet transform and chirp signal. The special spectrum distribution characteristic of chirp signal is utilized to encode watermarking bit. Then we use radon transform to decode the embedding information. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has good perceptual quality and robustness performance on various attacks such as signal processing and MPEG compression. The ease of use and low complexity reveals our method has good prospect in real application.
