Abstract :
For the signal/power integrity and EMI design, the simulation of large network including PDN (power distribution network) is strongly required. This paper describes a locally implicit block leapfrog scheme for the efficient PDN simulation, which can exploit larger time step sizes than the original leapfrog method. First, the LIM is reviewed, and the block-LIM is also explained. Next, locally implicit leapfrog methods are suggested and their efficiency is also shown.
