Abstract :
This paper lays its study emphasis on the exit temperature control of drum-type asphalt concrete mixing machinery. Firstly, a simplified model of fuzzy radial basis function (RBF) neural network is presented and its structure and clustering algorithm of hidden nodes are analyzed in detail. Secondly, a fuzzy cascade control system is designed by this model and its self-learning algorithm in cascade form is discussed. Finally, a lot of computer simulations are done to verify the validity and feasibility of the control method and the self-learning algorithm presented in this paper. The results of simulations show that the fuzzy cascade control system is in possession of high control accuracy and adaptivity
