Abstract :
In this paper, we present two approaches to the synthesis of a required frequency dependency of gain and reflection coefficient of a dipole antenna array. In the first approach, we assume that the transmission line is included into the antenna array synthesis, and the antenna array is excited in a single point. In the second approach, we do not consider the transmission line in the numerical model, and therefore, every dipole is excited separately. Simulations of the antenna array were performed by 4NEC. Results were exported to MATLAB to evaluate objective functions and compute iteration steps of the optimization.
