Abstract
A class of SISO T-S fuzzy systems named as linear T-S fuzzy systems, which employ linear functions of input variable as rule consequent are investigated. On condition that the input fuzzy sets are consistent we proved that linear T-S fuzzy systems are capable of approximating C1 function and its derivative function to any degree of accuracy simultaneously
