Abstract
Existing mobility models may need to be perfected especially for newly wireless network architecture such as Aeronautical Ad hoc Networks (AANET). For example, Random Waypoint model (RWP) has the speed decay problem and Semi-Markov Smooth mobility model (SMS) ignores turning-state. To resolve these problems, in this paper, we propose the Improved Semi-Markov Smooth mobility model (ISMS), the ISMS movement is divided into seven states: take-off, steady-fly, pre-decelerate, turn, post-accelerate, descend and pause. In our work, the average speed is proved steady theoretically, and validated through simulation.
