Abstract :
Properties in softening, melting and ignition for a variety of material could be measured by high-temperature physical properties tester, which has a wide application in metallurgy, materials and other fields. To improve the poor performance of traditional testers in bad accuracy and manual operation, a new type of intelligent tester is designed and realized based on computer technology and image processing technology to provide accurate and automated detection. The hardware design of system is given, and image processing algorithms used in various stages of testing are described in detail. Practical operation shows that the new instrument is of precise measurement, powerful data management and high automation.
