Abstract :
Localization is the core part of robot technique, and the robot localization based on the vision information attracts an unceasing attention of the robot control system. Taking effective image processing is the key to realize localization correctly, and only in this way can the precise location information be obtained. This paper is designed in the context of robot competition, and its filed has regular sharp and obvious characteristics. So it is crucial to get the straight line information. In this paper, the system of image processing based on PC-104plus bus is described firstly. Then some effective processing is taken to extract the straight line information, with which the intersection points can be found. And then the robot localization can be realized. The whole system is robust, accurate and fast, which is qualified for most robot competitions.
