Abstract :
an optimal channel parameter model is proposed to estimate the time varying channels for OFDM systems, the proposed method adopts matrix eigenvalue decomposition of the time domain covariance function to fit channel changes. The results of channel matrix decomposition is main eigens and eigenvectors, and the model error is adjusted by the numbers of main eigen, therefore, the channel model is the statistical sense optimal ones of the finite parameters. Simulations show that good performance can be obtained in COST 207 time varying channels.
