Abstract :
The extraction of periodic and statistically independent signals is discussed. This problem can be modelled from the perspective of blind source extraction. An algorithm is proposed to extract such kind of signal from mixture signals. Since the desired signal is independent to other components, and at the same time it is periodic or quasi-periodic, its periodicity characteristic and independent property can be used to realize extraction. Simulation results verify the good performance of the proposed approach.
