Abstract :
In order to meet the needs of the new technology in mine seismic prospecting, a new intrinsic safe distributed 3-component seismic data acquisition system is developed, which is composed of several digital 3-compoent geophones, one portable host computer and data processing software. The host computer is composed of a high performance 32-bit embedded microprocessor PXA270 and corresponding software, it is able to monitor and manage the digital geophones and has the ability of some timely data processing. The digital geophone with high performance seismic data acquisition circuit which is based on MCU, has the ability of sampling and transmitting the data of the 3-component seismic signal. The acquisition system adopt distributed control mode and the information is transmitted by network based on RS-485 bus. The system has the strong ability of anti-interference, and the geophones can be easily assembled or take down. Furthermore, the whole system is intrinsic safety. This paper mainly introduces the development about digital 3-compoent geophones and portable host computer, the construction of data transmission system, the development of the data processing software and some applications of this system.
