Abstract :
Recursive least square estimation (RLSE) is applied to the modeling of a hydroturbine generating set, their transfer functions are set up under three typical states: no-load; single machine with region load; and in a large-scale electric power system. By studying the obtained transfer functions, it is proved that the model for the real machine of the hydroturbine generating set in the no-load state is reasonable. The paper also analyzes the causes of error between the model simulation and the measured values of the state of the single machine with region load
