Abstract :
Summary form only given. Although there is extensive literature for frequency conversion in chalcopyrite crystals, little attention has been paid to HgGa/sub 2/S/sub 4/. Here, we report the first attainment of tunable second-harmonic generation (SHG) and optical parametric oscillation (OPO) in HgGa/sub 2/S/sub 4/.
