Abstract :
This article describes and analyses the main technologies of MVC (Multi-view video coding) based on H.264, which include MVC temporal scalable, inter-view prediction, parallel processing and structure of MVC bit streams. For further analysis of MVC coding efficiency, some experiments are designed. Compared with the single view coding of simulcast, the MVC compression coding based on the JMVC model can obtain high coding efficiency.
