Abstract :
A five-resonator narrow-band high-temperature superconducting (HTS) bandpass filter has been designed and fabricated for use at 18.5 MHz. Each quarter-wave resonator is a combination of thin film microstrip and commercial capacitors. The HTS microstrip is shorted to ground using gold foil. Centre-band insertion loss is 0.40 dB.
