Abstract :
As the transport accidents remain one of the principal causes of mortality in our modern life, various accident prevent mechanisms are proposed to pre-detect the violations and pre-notify the accidents. However, these conventional mechanisms or solutions require either exact recognition or complex algorithms or real-time updating of digital map. In this paper, a RFID-based driver assistance and safety warning system is proposed to automatically detect various traffic violations and warn the drivers to avoid accidents. Indication flags are written in the RFID tag to indicate the various events. The interaction between the roadside and vehicle RFID systems dynamically initialize and release these indication flags to automatically detect and notify the driver of traffic violations.
