Abstract :
Summary form only given. We have proposed a new THz radiation generation scheme using an intracavity saturable Bragg reflector (SBR) in a magnetic field. With this simple scheme using a simple and damage-free device, THz radiation peaked at around 0.8 THz and 0.8 /spl mu/W average power was directly generated. That power level is the same level as that of complicated and damage-sensitive photoconductive antenna.
