Abstract :
MSCTP is an important scheme for implementing end node mobility with transport layer in mobility multihoming network, how to improve the performance of mSCTP to further support a large scale real-time multimedia transmission is the focus of this paper. So we modify mSCTP by adding QoS-Measurement-Chunk used for path-over process in mobility multihoming networks. In this paper, Congestion-oriented Path-over Algorithm (CPA) was proposed to detect congestion existing in the primary path. The simulations show that CPA is more robust to adapt change of the wireless link parameters and the performance of suggested method is batter than mSCTP.
