  • Abstract
    This paper reports the design of a modified Minkowski fractal monopole conceived on a dielectric layer and fed by a coaxial line through a perpendicular ground plane. Simulation results for the return loss, current distribution, input impedance and radiation patterns are reported as a function of the dimensions of the Minkowski geometry and the new parameter (bridge) included to modify it. Simulation results for the monopole with iteration 2 are reported and analyzed, as well as useful design informations are given.
