Abstract
A review of different optimum flux search algorithms for loss minimization in a vector-controlled induction motor drive is presented. A fuzzy logic controller, actuating as a supervisor, is proposed to work with reduced flux levels during transients and also to optimize efficiency in dynamic modes. Experimental results demonstrate the validity of the proposed methods
