Abstract :
In case of using a DFB-LD as the optical transmitter for the WiMAX Radio over Fiber (RoF), the Relative Constellation Error (RCE) is increased by degradation of the CNR due to the lower power modulation and higher relative intensity noise at lower DC bias power operation, and the RCE is increased by superimposed high frequency modulation power.
