Abstract :
A length measurement device in plastic film production line is designed in this paper. The device controlled by the main subordinate micro-controller consists of photoelectric detection, inkjet printing code, stepper motor drive, voice prompt and fault alarm, etc. Color scale sensor ZLS, XJ128-type nozzle of UK XAAR Company and single IC PMM8713 are employed in photoelectric detection, inkjet printing code, and stepper motor drive respectively. Measurement error is within plusmn2%. This device is characterized by low cost, simple operation, easy install, an operational reliability and so on, which satisfies many manufacturers of plastic film.
