Abstract :
In recent years, the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV) is playing important roles in different applications. It is used in many aspects of military and civil broadly, such as aerial photogrammetry, warzone, surveillance, traffic and climate monitoring ,and so on. This paper focused on the development of avionics system for a composite material UAV using low-cost integrated modules. According to the overall design requirements of the composite material UAV, the detailed design scheme of avionics system for a composite material UAV was proposed. The sensor selection and integration schemes were presented. Differential GPS(DGPS) is used to obtain high accuracy position information for automatic landing of a UAV. Some problems affecting EMC(electromagnetic compatibility) performance of the avionics system, such as static-discharge protection, composite material electricity bonding method, layout and routing were studied. some optimization methods for EMC were given. The wireless communications link antenna reflected board was simulated. Some simulation results were demonstrated. The proposed avionics system is highly integrated, interface convenient and low cost.
