Abstract
The applications of algorithms in adaptive antenna arrays (AAAs) can provide high directivity and control, which is useful in communication systems, such as digital television, radar system, cellular system and point-to-point or satellite. The way an objective function of an algorithm is presented can provide important information about the performance of AAAs. The AAAs present the spatial filtering property, which allow them to receive energy from a particular direction, while simultaneously minimizing the reception from other directions. This paper proposes an alternative to implement two algorithms using a minimum-disturbance description with constraints in the reception mode of the AAA.
