Abstract :
In the paper of M. Franceschetti´s, they prove there existing a considerable number of open paths in wireless networks, called highway system. Their theoretical analysis shows the highway system is the key to the efficient operation of wireless networks. This paper established a line process model for the highway systems of wireless networks, and investigate the statistic properties of highway systems, including the estimation of deployment density and the expected number of highway crossing, i.e. highway router. The results of this paper are of practical value for performance optimization of mobile networks and give a deeper understanding of the fundamental properties of highway systems in wireless networks.
