Abstract :
In wireless radio communication, symbol rate estimation is very important to modulation signal recognizing, especially in soft radio and wireless sense network etc. Meanwhile, it is very difficult to get high correct rate of estimation. In this paper, we first change signal into pulse sequence and analyze its spectrum. Then wavelet transform is applied to deal with signal and arrive to spectrum pulse sequence and pass through low filter, then estimate the frequency value at maximum amplitude value as symbol rate. Simulation is be done to different modulated signal at different SNR. Simulation results show that the symbol rate estimation based on wavelet transform is efficient and correct rate of estimate is high at SNR over some value.
