Abstract :
In this work, we begin by presenting some of the challenges in the design of heterogeneous multi physics systems. To address this complexity a methodology based on hierarchical partitioning and multilevel optimization is described. Our implementation, in the form of the design platform RUNE is applied to demonstrate the proposed methodology, and we end by outlining our vision for its application to systems based on heterogeneous 3D integration.
