Abstract :
We have designed and developed a joint control board used in a precision assembly robot with the in-system programmable large-scale integration device GAL20V8 ispLSI1016. We introduce the board´s circuit and working principles and its interface with the PC´s ISA bus and analyse the design´s advantages over one using a conventional IC device
